What’s the difference between a 20ft backwall and a full 20ft booth-space setup?
A 20ft backwall typically refers to the rear graphic wall of your 10x20 booth space, often made of fabric stretched over an aluminum frame. A full booth-space setup may also include side walls, counters, flooring, overhead signage, or product displays. How much floor space does a 20ft backwall require?

Most trade shows offer a standard 10x20 inline booth, which gives you 200 square feet to work with. A 20ft backwall is designed to sit along the back 20ft wall of that space, leaving the front open for interaction. Our backwalls are typically 8–10ft tall and just a few inches deep, so you still have ample room for tables, displays, and attendee engagement.

How long does it take to set up a 20ft backwall display?

Many of our 20ft booth kits are designed for tool-free assembly and can be set up by two people in under an hour. If you're exhibiting alone or have union labor restrictions at your venue, we can help you choose an option that’s easy to assemble or pre-approved for self-installation.

Can I avoid expensive freight or union labor fees with a 20ft booth?

Yes! We offer 20ft booths that ship in lightweight wheeled cases, avoiding the need for heavy freight. Some models even convert into branded counters. And because our kits are easy to install without tools or ladders, you can often bypass costly union labor (depending on the venue). Which materials are best for a 20ft trade show display?

We recommend SEG fabric graphics (silicone-edge graphics) for clean edges and vibrant colors, or tension fabric for curved, pillowcase-style frames. Both are lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and ideal for shipping between shows.
